Prepare your home for window or external Gutter Cleaning service
- A water supply will be needed to carry out this service.
- All windows must remain closed during the cleaning process.
- If your vehicle is parked in the driveway please insure that we have at least 2 meters available from the vehicle to the wall.
Prepare your home for Gutter Cleaning Service
- One power socket must be made available for the service vacuum.
- If your vehicle is parked in the driveway please insure that we have at least 2 meters available from the vehicle to the wall.
Prepare your home for Chimney Sweep service
- A radius of 1.5 meters around the Open Fire/ Stove must be cleared out. Items such as rugs, candles, photo frames, vases, toys etc must be removed from the front of the appliance prior to our arrival. Following infection control guide lines we must avoid touching personal items in your property.
- Due to Safety Regulations no children under the age of 16 should be in the same area where the service will be carried out.
- One window or door will need to remain open during the sweeping process.
- One power socket must be made available for the service vacuum.
- Your Fireplace/Stove can not be lit 24 hours prior to our arrival.
We're on mission to sweep away cancer
In the memory off all the kids and chimney sweepers that lost their lives to cancer due to direct contact and exposure to soot and other harmful chemicals contained in the chimneys.
Children used as chimney sweepers were typically between the age of 5 and 10 years of age, and some were as young as 4 years old. They clambered up chimneys with brushing and scraping tools that knocked the creosote and soot from the chimney lining. Many of them lost their lives to cancer. Today we take very seriously all the preventive ways to avoid all the negative impact of these brave trade that put so many lives in risk.
In the memory of this Kids and Professionals that lost their lives fighting cancer we from Men and Women in Black Property Maintenance are involved in supporting the cause and would like to offer the opportunity to Donate a chosen amount to the Irish Cancer Society.
